Is there any facility in magnolia for directory browsing? What I have is
a directory on our web server that contains hundreds of documents. Most
of the documents are in sub-directories that go about 3 levels deep. I
need a web page that shows all documents (with hyperlinks for
downloading) within the main document directory as well as hyperlinks
that allow the user to drill down into the sub directories to look at
and download other documents within these subdirectories. I plan on
writing a template that allows you to enter a physical directory and it
will build the necessary page that will automatically show all documents
within the directory. However, before I embark on this I wanted to make
sure something like this is not already built into magnolia and/or
someone else has already posted something like this on the Wiki. Is
there a way to display the contents of a directory using a pre-built
template or an example on the wiki, or would I be better off creating my
own template? Is my template idea overkill? Could I simply add a context
that allows directory browsing to the magnoliaPublic web.xml file?
