template and then created a new page using this template,
:: i then created a new mail template (called simonsMail) and pointed the
body to the URI of the newly created page.

success

You can do what you want in HTML for the content. This email is pretty
basic but it allows me to validate some workflow tickets thanks to email
parsers.
All the code parts that are made like that:
${this.variable}
are freemarker parts. They are replaced by a value find in the context.
For your information and if you're interested, you can develop a command
that will send email by instanciating a class to set the differents
variables of the freemarker email code.
