Many thanks Stefan .... >1. Animate the Root Levels 'Fade' Attribute, then set its curve to Boolean in the Chor Editor.
Problem is I use a lot of Light Sensitivity in several channels and for some reason Fade often fails where I have Light Sensitivity activated for an object. Either use Fade or Light Sensitivity but seldom both. I say "seldom" because something in how I set the attributes up can allow both. I have never found out what that magic formula is ... might be the order I set them up, I dont know. THAT SAID: I have not tried your idea of course. And as a binary value it might not affect the Light Sensitivity in an object. BTW - I love that Fade attribute. It used be a bit buggy animating but not so much in V7. Clip-map, on the other hand is rock solid. And animating the "clip from" and "clip to" on a specially designed greyscale continuous tone bmp is also fun. Renders for Episode Two are well advanced on my project. Re-opened the script last evening since I had not dared to for months, and yes, still very happy with the project. I don't have any blank DVD's in the studio or I would get the 2 Gig Teaser for Episode One to you that way ... sorry about that. Thanks again for your efforts!
