As others already explained this does not work well at the moment. It reminds me a bit about a proposal I wrote about some time ago.

The idea was to have a ui to create a custom karaf distribution. I thought of a separate UI then that let´s you select the feature urls and features you want to have and also to define the config. Of course we could also have that by doing the settings on a karaf instance and providing some kind of export command to create a complete "config" that you could import into a karaf to make it a copy of the other instance.

Would that help you?

Hello,
I have asked this question couple of times bu I guess I'm not making my self
clear, and so far I did not get the answer I was looking for.

I have an installation of Karaf. I certain feature urls and enabled them. I
also enabled some the builtin features.

I also installed cetain bundles like debry etc.

I want to replicate this setup to other developers/other installations of
Karaf.

Where does Karaf store my changes? I cannot find it in any folder. Can some
one point me to this location please so that I can replicate this set up by
just copying this changes.

Thanks
Matt
