Hello Midgard community!

Hope everyone is having a great new millennium! The Midgard 1.4.1 Christmas
present was great, and I am now in the process of upgrading from my previous
version of 1.4beta4 to the new version of Midgard. I have downloaded the
latest version of rpms for redhat and have a question before I try to
install it.

Since I installed the original 1.4beta4 from source on a Cobalt RaQ3, I am
wondering and hoping that if I now do an install using the rpm's that I will
not have to worry about having to delete the old versions. I haven't
modified the previous version, nor added asgard, or any of the subsequent
versions. So the question is, can I simply rpm the new version and not have
to worry about apache config files or what not?

I haven't found any documentation which relates to upgrades using the redhat
rpm's, so any warnings or assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks goes out to all the Midgard Team! Kudos to you folks and the open
source movement!

sincerely,

enrique
