libexpat.so.0 is provided by expat package.

I'm afraid that at least glib and apache should be upgraded. Minimal
version of glib which is compatible with Midgard is 1.2.6, and Apache
prior to 1.3.12 contains several security volnurabilities and API
changes (1.3.14 is the best choice). MySQL 3.22.32 should be fine but you
need to recompile RPM then after changing 'Requires: MySQL >= 3.23.20' to
'Requires: MySQL >= 3.22.32' in spec file.

You still can use RPM but compile Midgard RPM instead of direct compiling of
sources.
