There is no 1.4.1 yet, the X-mass release was marked 1.4. the -1 in the
rpm filename refers to the build release of the rpm.

Hard to tell, I understand that Cobalt RaQ3 is not a RedHat 6.2 install,
is it? The rpm's you are referring to are meant for RedHat 6.2
installations. Source installations typically install in /usr/local, and
the rpm's install in /usr following the Redhat 6.2 way of doing things.
So there is a good chance that you'd want to remove old libraries hanging
around.

The rpms do expect you to make changes to the apache config files. After
installing the RPM you are instructed to read the POSTINSTALL file and
follow the instructions in it.

POSTINSTALL for midgard-data will advise you to run
midgard-db-install.sh, this is actually meant for a new install. If you
have existing data in your database, you should change to the
doc-directory for midgard data, and run ./configure --help for
instructions. The doc-directory in a redhat6.2 install would be
/usr/doc/midgard-data-1.4-1/
Usual warnings apply: Be sure to backup your database contents before
doing anything.
