I need advice on setting up a server....I finally got the powers that be to
replace the server I built from surplus parts with a wicked nice PIII 933
with many mb ram and everything...I installed RH 7 but get the impression
that 1.4 won't run on it? Is this true, would I be better running RH6.2? I
have 6.1 CD in my hand, were there big differences between 6.1 and 6.2 that
would keep midgard 1.4 from running on it? I am not too attached to RH 7 as
Bastille won't run on it anyway...at least not without me picking perl
apart....
Lastly would I be best installing Midgard 1.2.5, copying the old database
and then upgrading it or installing 1.4 then copying the db......?
any suggestions are appreciated....
