Hmmmm. Anyone else familiar with the C intricacies of Midgard? Anyone familiar with C at all? > To the question why Midgard reinvents the wheel, I think this is one of > the legacies we inherited from 1.0 or 1.2 Midgard, where PHP was only > partly able to do what we wanted. I already have the problem scoped quite a bit. Indeed, I have oldadmin storing high unicode chars like a charm on IE4+ and Mozilla RC1. I think Netscape 4.7 can manage it, but haven't tested. The issue is taat I don't want to go about doing a massive search/replace operation on my oldadmin. But in any case, I can do it if it boils down to it. If I can do it in a more elegant manner, I will certainly feed it back to the project, and that is what this is all about. And with a bit of help, and couple of hints, I expect to be able to handle it. regards, m --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
