Hi Jacopo,
But if I will not use WIP then it is not possible for me to constitute the 
"mandatory-dependent" association for production runs as it is only done if I 
take WIP as product type (I have tested this). Please suggest the way out.

If you want to put it on stock, then you should not use the WIP type.
