I downloaded the 4.0.3 and I'm very trouble using, all the sample apps I've downloaded from the avalon site have not successfully deployed. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Do you advice I get the cvs version instead. I've attaced a sample stack trace. of the types of errors I usually get. Thanks
Its not an os x specific problem your seeing. There were incompatibilities introduced between the various thread-related libraries that the Avalon project produces and you are being bit by them.
Unfortunately my best suggestion at this point is to grab the source for the demos and copy in the same thread-related jars that your version of phoenix is using (or do the reverse). We're working on getting a stable set of demo applications that work with phoenix.
