Ok cool. So I'll be bothering u abt jingDAO in coming times now ;-)

I have a DAO architecture in place here which includes a DAO Factory package also. And I want to embedd Merlin into our upcoming webapp ( which uses turbine ) and have that webapp use DAOs.

So instead of rewriting our whole DAO setup, I want to look into jingDAO and then try to convince the bosses abt it.

I have just taken one rough look at the jingDAO site but knowing the story so far, do u recommend jingDAO, I mean is it very much ready to be used in production apps.

I would appreciate any thoughts.

Mathews.

I use it. :)

The meta-data should be already included in the jar files and there should be
a block.xml in the src/conf directory. Configuration should look EXCATLY like
the other examples in the unit tests. I still need to add examples for
Merlin, Fortress, Servlet, Standalone,... to the website. But that won't
happen until the beginning of Feb at the earliest.
