If you try to run jingdao with Merlin, it don't run until it finds this
src/conf/build.xml.

Is it just some temporary thing. 

What is the purpose of this additional block.xml ?

And even if we do need an additional xml shouldn't it be placed in some conf
folder outside the src folder. Or then it should be packaged in the jar
only.

I use it. :)

The meta-data should be already included in the jar files and there should
be 
a block.xml in the src/conf directory.  Configuration should look EXCATLY
like 
the other examples in the unit tests.  I still need to add examples for 
Merlin, Fortress, Servlet, Standalone,... to the website.  But that won't 
happen until the beginning of Feb at the earliest.
