are you then using an application server
(for example, JBoss) which embeds tomcat as its web server or are you using
tomcat as standalone?
The
main page of the Cocoon I am obtaining to visualize, I find perhaps that the
problem is another one. I am executing in a server who has the installed
Apache, and am wanting to visualize the folder/webapps/cocoon of the Tomcat,
for the Apache

All you should have to do is place the
cocoon.war file in the Tomcat "webapps"
directory and then restart Tomcat...
Have you tried this and, if so, what errors
do you get when you try to access the Cocoon
