If it can be customized, can someone who has been
doing the "port" then see that this gets done ; its
pointless asking each individual to do it.

It does seem that the new wiki is much less flexible
than the old, if what you say below is true.

In what way?

I gather colours and fonts and stuff can be customised.

Me too, but i don't think that we can have one
(i could be wrong).

Instead we can enhance the SiteNavigation page which
is reached by the top panel, or perhaps add a TOC page.

Someone needs to retrieve the content from the old page

What is the problem? Some of the actions that they
provide are useful. We can probably remove some of
them with configuration.
