Just to add my perspective. I actually think the multi-column combo box (or an equivalent) is a VERY important convenience feature. I use it on almost every form in every application I have ever written in MS Access. That would be hundreds of forms. It is one of the things I look for in a development tool. I can work without having a multi-column combo box in simple applications, but for anything that is not basic, a multi-column combo box to me is very important. Yes there are many ways to program around not having a multi-column combo box. For end users however a multi-column combo box requires no programming, and IMHO that is what Base should aim for. I should also add there are other things that have stopped me from using OpenOffice.org for developing applications. If I had to prioritise, this one is not a show stopper for me either. It is good to see you don't feel it is a priority. Different perspectives are always good. <snip> Regards, Kelvin Eldridge Online Connections Website: www.onlineconnections.com.au Every day we solve and document clients problems.
