The problem is, that MS doesn't write e.g an ODBC-driver for MS-Access
under Linux or anything similar.

As I say in the other mail you can migrate your data of the MS-Access
tables to free (as in freespeech) database management system like MySQL
or Postgresql or Oracle or what you want and what you need. This depends
on the requirement of your application.

Then you can connect to OpenOffice.org via ODBC or JDBC. This also
depends on your requirements.

I have done this migration last time and it was a good decision
