I thought I should expand on something I said in the last email.
Who would want to put a summary field in he group header?
I said lots of people I know.
OK, before you think that was hyperbole let me give a use case:
I want to generate a group of billing statements. A common format for
this is to have the total amount due at the top of the form, near the
customers name and address information. Or near a return address, in
many cases this may be a tear away page that the customer would return
with their remittance.
A detail section that lists each of the billable events, would display
it the summary also, in a footer usually.
So having these variables available in later passes when the printing is
being laid out is important.
