According to Ocke, there was a problem with HSQL writing its lock file to the WebDAV server. However, it's unclear which effort it would be to fix this (at least read-only access should be possible when the .lck file cannot be created), so feel free to submit an issue (I wouldn' tre-open the existing one, it is too long already, IMO).
