I'm new to this mailinglist... so I'll start of introducing myself. I'm
Jurgen, age 35, from Belgium and mainly love Open Source, not working in
it professionally (though I convinced my boss into a few small projects
already).
I'm running Ooo.org 3.0.1 (build 9379) under Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex and a
JDBC connector voor de database connection.
I'm trying to edit a MySQL database, but I'm having 2 different
problems. I'll explain them both here:
*1. Can't create relationships between tables*
In the "Relationship Design" view, I can place all my MySQL tables...
but I can't get any connections. I tried dragging and dropping, I tried
using the "New Relation" button.
Somewhere I read that Relationships are possible between MySQL tables
since Ooo.org Base 2.4
I'm not succeeding. What am I missing?
*2. Can't find the alternative for the SQL type ENUM*
I have a table with this kind of SQL field:
`cycle` enum('A','B','C','O','E','F','0') NOT NULL default '0'
Under Base, this gives me a field of the type "Text (fix) [ CHAR ]" but
I can't seem to figure out where I can edit or add the possible values
for the enumeration...
