Don't get me wrong, the form of posting my results is only because I'm
lazy. This way there's no need to edit something, only copy & paste. ;)

One thing I noticed is you're using version 1.6 JDK, mine is 1.5 an on
FreeBSD 1.6 is not accepted. This may be a FreeBSD issue, but could be
worth trying since both are installed at your site.

Do you have full write access to all the tables in the database?

And do you have enough permissions on the mysql side of things to create
and alter tables? (Although I think OO.o does not change the structure
on the server ...)

I can only ask some pretty basic questions, if anything else is okay
we'll have to wait until monday and hope someone with deeper knowledge
regarding relations design can jump in.
