thanks for sending it - indeed, I do not have any problem with the persistence of the relation design, both on Windows and Linux, using OOO320.m8 (OOo 3.2 RC 1). So, I strongly suppose this is an issue with the Debian version. I suggest you verify this by trying the vanilla version, and submit an issue at Debian.
