Yes.  That is why i was wondering if the speed is really an issue and if so 
then maybe it's indicating there is a problem that 'needs' to be fixed.  On the 
other hand it could just be a low-spec machine like most of the ones here.

My LO 3.4.6 starts from a file click in 3 seconds so is fast enough 
without the quick starter. I find LO very fast these days.
