IMHO: this is IPless virtual hosting - or am I wrong what I have configured
since some years on my webservers?
IPless virtual hosting only works with HTTP 1.1, HTTP 1.0 clients run into
problems on such sites/IP-addresses.
The server takes the "host: " header and selects the matching virtual
webserver (Apache: ServerName and ServerAlias).
