I had tried the config as below:

 

group = smsc
smsc = at
modemtype = auto
device = /dev/gnokii
connect-allow-ip = "127.0.0.1"

speed = 19200

 

And run #gnokiid to create /dev/gnokii . In /dev/gnokii --> its shows an soft link to /dev/pts/2 .

 

But in bearerbox.log , its hows an error as below:--

Any body had face the problem.

will /dev/gnokii works ?

gnokii act as a phone driver that can read any data from nokia phone to pc
via data cable. check it out at http://www.gnokii.org

if you need a daemon which work with gnokii as sms gateway just like kannel,
you can use alamin (http://www.alamin.org) but it's only for sms, not wap.

it's really cool though... i can control my server via sms using
alamin+gnokii.
