As Falco says,

Actual reference from SMPP v 5:

ESME_RTHROTTLED 0x00000058 Throttling error (ESME has exceeded allowed message
limits).

This type of error is usually returned where an ESME has exceeded a predefined
messaging rate restriction applied by the operator.

Nikos

  Hi,

0x0...58 is not a failure message from kannel, but your provider answers
this. So you have some limitation on your account (SMS/sec, SMS/hour, SMS/day,
SMS/month...) and you are above this. Please contact your provider, he can tell
you what limitation you have exhausted.

Additionally, like for hafez that seems to be the case, you can reach the
maximum number of i.e. message/day but not reach the throughput per second,
that you expect. Here can some "tuning" helps you, to improve the performance
of kannel (sorry for not writing anything to this, I don't really have a clue
about how to do this the best way...). But that is a total other process and
has nothing to do with the error.

  Regards
  Falko

      Dear Falko,

1st thanks Falko for you usual help :).

I ask my operator if there are daily limitation, but he answer me NO, he
gave me a TX connection with 25sms/sec, and I set the throughput = 20sms and
the max-pending-submit = 10 , but I have the same problem, the max throughput
that I get is 5 sms/sec, and I still get the Queue full error and Throttling
error.

I check my bandwidth, my I/O, my hardware and everything works fine, any
Ideas why I cant get the actual throughput?

and if I have more than one SMSbox , is that improve the performance?

      Regards,
      Hafez

Well, throughput is a technical limitation, lets say 10 sms/sec. But
maybe you also have a legal limitation (100.000 sms/day) and get the error
because of this? ("spam")

Simply ask your provider which limitation you have broken.
