Hi,

I don't know gnokii, and I am not interested in it. However, I do know wvdial, minicom and statserial all useful tools to diagnose serial problems.

Are you sure your modem is at /dev/ttyS0? What does:

dmesg | grep tty

show?

Nikos

Thanks for your answer Jovan,

but in my /etc/kannel/sms.conf I've :
include = "/etc/kannel/modems.conf"

And in my /etc/kannel/modems.conf I've :
group = modems
id = siemens_m20
name = "Siemens M20"
detect-string = "SIEMENS"
detect-string2 = "M20"
speed = 19200
enable-hwhs = "AT\\Q3"
keepalive-cmd = "AT+CBC;+CSQ"
need-sleep = true

But that doesn't works...
