Would it be possible to try the drivers in the ELRepo repository instead ?
The benefit of these drivers is that it doesn't require dkms and it works
for stock RHEL/CentOS kernels out of the box. And they are up-to-date.
I probably will update my nvidia today, but ELRepo is the future for
hardware related packages.
