Vincent,
Thanks for joining the ranks of another RTFM-er, and using your
opportunity to respond and provide help as a means to try to point out
to all another non-doc-reading criminal.
I asked my question after reading this doc. There was a reason I asked
this -- because it wasn't necessarily clear from the doc, and unlike the
past month, I didn't want to peel off on another day of trial and error
and Googling to try to figure it out if someone else knew the answer.
If you hadn't read the documentation thread -- this is another example
that fits right into that theme.
Poor doc + RTFM responses on mailing list == Guaranteed user frustration
Brad
P.S. What I asked for was an answer and help, not condescension.

Subject: Specifying the location for maven to put depedencies inside an
ear
Using the maven ear plugin, I would like to specify where maven places
dependencies (jars) inside my ear file. In other words, rather than
having my jars (not ejb jars, mind you, but dependency jars) placed at
the root, I'd like them placed into:
./common/
so that all the depedencies reside there. Likewise, I need to be able to
specify this classpath in the manifest. Can someone clue me in on how to
accomplish this?
Sure, you need to read the doc! Here it is:

PS: You asked for it! :-)
