I think this confusion stems from the announcement of MyFaces 1.1.2 release: Now that I examine the wording more closely, it seems to indicate the following: Core 1.1.2 works with Tomahawk 1.1.2 Core 1.1.2(and greater) works with Tomahawk 1.1.3(and greater)
Actually, I think this was said in error. I don't think 1.1.2 is interchangeable with newer versions. Maybe I'm wrong, but the errors I've seen don't seem to paint that picture
Is that correct? Do you really need Core 1.1.3 to be interoperable with newer Tomahawks? Of course the easiest thing would be to just update to 1.1.3 or higher for both, where there is no debate as to interoperability. Unfortunately for some of us, the "show-stopper" bug in Tomahawk 1.1.3 leaves us waiting for 1.1.4 to be officially released. We can't all be on the bleeding-edge! ;)
I'd recommend using the 1.1.4 prerelease candidate. I'm not certain why it's taking so long for us to officially release it (I haven't had time to be involved with the release process other than as a tester), but I'm pretty sure it's effectively final at this point.
