That doesn't imply adoption of the capability any time soon or ever,
just that it's an active topic right now. I see it as a positive
thing for those who would like to see a Shift-Click Drag & Drop function.
Did you ever say which version of Excel you could shift+drag in. I
couldn't do it in Excel 2002.
I submitted the issue for another user on the list who found Issue
Tracker to be more arcane than the effort to submit was worth. I have
only Excel97 and it doesn't have this capability. You aren't the first
to say the function doesn't exist in more recent versions than mine.
