I did a quick google for "Lotus Millennium macros 123" and it appears to
be referring to a book. Are you saying that you need more documentation
for writing macros in OOo or that the macros that came with the book you
require equivalents for Calc? If the latter, say what macros you would
require and maybe I and others can write / help you write them.

I just did a quick check in Win98SE OOo1.1.1 (sorry it is so out of date
but I don't use Windows at all these days) and Alt + 0176 produced a
degrees symbol and Alt + 0178 produced a "superscripted" two (these
being the only code I can remember).
In Gnome (Mandrake 10.1), with OOo1.1.4 a right Alt key + 2 (not numeric
keypad) produced the "superscripted" 2 and right Alt+Shift+0 the degrees
symbol - easier to remember than Windows.
A quick double check - is such a macro really necessary and if so could
someone tell me how they would like an alt+ digit keys to produce a
unicode character macro to work?

Thanks, Ian
