The irony is that the OOo SDK requires the JDK and does not configure correctly, unless it found it. Nevertheless, WriterPerfect build uses from the JDK only the Java Archiver (jar) to create the resulting WriterPerfect.uno.zip package. If your JDK is detected, even wrongly, just try to run the setsdkenv_unix and then chech "which jar". If it gives you a working jar installation, you can build without problems.
