Using the beta 2 version of OO writer on linux, I need to get my TOC to
show both chapters and appendices, with their appropriate numbering:
Chapter 1 = Heading1 style numbering 1..2..3..4
Appendix A = custom style based on heading1 numbering A..B..C
I can't get both Chapters and Appendices to appear automatically in the
TOC. (They do work correctly in the document) It looks like the docs
infer that this should be possible, and I see a lot of closed bugs
around this area, but it still doesn't seem to work.
I have tried several variations on numbering and TOC creation, but maybe
you should assume I know nothing...

Last time I did this, I used heading 9 for the appendix. I then set the
numbering style for this and the size and such as I desired. I need to
re-read Jean Hollis Weber's book to remind myself how she said that this
should be done....
