Perhaps the answer is obvious to everyone but me.
If it is suspected the person (OP) may not have seen a reply on the list because they aren't subscribed, how does one conclude the OP will see some additional response and that it is reasonable to clutter the list with these posts?
I suggest it would be more useful to reply directly *ONLY* to the OP and not copy the list. </rant>
