We had Word 95 (or 97?) and lost it when we had to reboot. No recovery disc was provided when we purchased the computer, and now the program we had is "obsolete" and no recovery discs are available.
We were referred to your organization, but since we don't know what we need, I'm afraid that your home page looked awfully "greek" to us. Our OS is Windows 98, so we're looking for a substitute for Microsoft Word that is compatible with Windows 98. Can you suggest what is required -- and how we obtain it? We know about how to turn the computer on - not too much computer savvy in this household. Thank you.
