Open Office is an excellent substitute for MS Office and works well on
my Win 98 SE.

You can download it (free!) from the www.openoffice.org site, but if you
don't have broadband or cable it will take a long time. There is,
however, a list of suppliers who will sell it to you on CD-ROM.

You will probably want the latest stable version (1.1.4) as version 2.0
isn't quite ready for general use yet. If you buy a CD, make sure you
get one with at least a 1.1 version, and preferably 1.1.4. Some CDs are
sold with an old 1.0 version on them.
