Hi,Looks like you had a bad download, try using a friend that has a speedier connection and burning the file to CD. When I was a slave to dial-up I had corrupt downloads all the time. After waiting so long for downloads it can be quite frustrating.
I downloaded the open office software. The file was saved as OOo_2.Obeta_Win32Intel_install in C drive. It shows the memory of 73 MB. But I was not able to install it.I downloaded winzip and tried to unzip which showed that it can not be opened as there is no archieve. It showed the following output:
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a Zip file, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part Zip file.
I tried to use MD5Win32 to check the file but could not follow the complicated instructions.I am a novice for computers. It took me 13 hours to download. Please guide me how to open it or I need to download it again. How should I download it again.
Thanking you.
Yours sincerely

I used this download manager before I moved to DSL, you can resume and pause downloads with it. It also helped by notifying me of corrupt files. http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
Good Luck
