Do you want to load some styles from your template into the
document which is older than the template?
If so, F11 opens the Styles and Formating window. The icon on the
right (New Style from Selection) allows to to load the styles of
another file into your present document. In version 1.1.4, this is also
possible using Format > Styles > Load. The bottom right has a button to
browse for the file you want to get the styles from.
