Thanks, that helped some, but not completely: The command opens a window where I can select what I want to do. When I select anything except Writer and Calc it works fine. If I select Wrtier or Calc, I get the following error message (if I started OpenOffice.org3 with the command you provided): "terminate called after throwing an instance of 'com::sun::star::uno::RuntimeException'" However, if I first start, let's say Draw, then I can start Writer and Calc by klicking New → Spreadsheet or New → Text document. So something is wrong, but it's not impossible to start all the applications, if using this workaround. Any guess what could be wrong? I still have the 2.4.1 installed, if that has anything to do with it.
