Hi Rob!
Yes, the protrait/landscape option is available in Format-Page. This
changes the page into landscape on the display, but it still prints in
portrait. In NeoOffice this is the same, but NeoOffice has a different
'Printer Settings' dialogue where you can chose portrait or landscape
format for the printer. On OSX this item is usually a part of the
'Print' dialogue. But in OpenOffice3 it is not present at all.

Hi Jens!
To me it seems that landscape printing is missing in the OO3.0
Aqua. There's a 'Printer Settings' menu item in the 'File' menu,
but it does not give you the option to chose landscape format. The
same menu item in NeoOffice (based on OO 2.x) is the standard OSX
pane with choices for printer, paper size, orientation and scale. I
can't print in landscape format from OO3 on OSX, only form NeoOffice.

Hello,
Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough but I cannot find any
definitive answers to this problem:
To print brochures in OO 2.4 under Mac OS X, I needed to ensure
the following when processing the Print dialog:
1. In Printer Properties ensure that the format is set to
'Landscape'
2. Under Options, ensure that the 'Brochure' checkbox is checked.
However, now under OO 3.0 (m7) the Printer Properties button is
disabled and I cannot find anywhere else where I might change the
page orientation to Landscape. Documentation I've found suggests
there may be a 'Page Setup' option under 'File', but that doesn't
appear for me.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

I am using OpenOffice 3.0 but not on a Mac. Could you please check
if the portrait and landscape options are available in >Format
>Page. I think that will sort it out
Thanks
