Sorry, but I think you are missing the point here. The original query
(as evidenced by the message subject) was about printing what
OpenOffice calls a brochure. And the way that OpenOffice works (at
least, how the current version 2.4.1 works on Windows) is that you
print a brochure by setting the *page* orientation (in Format |
Page... | Page) to portrait but the *paper* orientation (in File |
Printer Settings...) to landscape. So you do need both.
No. You missed my point. I was responding to the statement about how the
NeoOffice clone of OO.o works. In NeoOffice, if you use the 'Printer
Settings' dialogue on NeoOffice to change to landscape and then open
Format/Page, you will find that the setting there has been changed to
landscape as well. NeoOffice also does not have the printing as brochure
option.
OO.o 3.0 now uses the native Mac printing dialogue. OO.o 2.4.1 required
X11 and used CUPs printing and worked as you described for windows. I
haven't used duplex printing on OO.o 3.0 yet.
