[users] Opening a .csv file in Writer instead of Calc

I'm using OOo3.0.0 on Mac OS X (10.5.5).  Today, I learned that if I 
Ctrl-click (or right-click) on a .csv file and choose "OpenOffice" as 
the application to open the file, it automatically tries to open it with 
Calc.  Sometimes, I would prefer Writer to open the file, but not always.

Is my only option to start Writer first and then use the File->Open 
command from within Writer?
