Even the MS software pre-installed on this laptop crashed on
a regular basis. OOo has not crashed one on me in the past week.
I would like to say for the "record" that the people who do the work
on the programming of OOo should be praised for their efforts. If
their software works when MS's crashes, then they did a great job.
Thanks Everyone

also a note that any software for windows XP loses its help subsystem
when installed in Windows Vista. One reason I gave up MS Office 2003
and switched totally to OOo.

unfortunately for me, I have to have MS Office 2003 for a client or two that
will not switch ot the better software call OpenOffice.org. No matter what
I show them, they just will not switch. Oh well, can convert them all.

wondering why MS created Vista so badly. . .
