I can not open Open Office at all. When I ask it to open a
document or just open I get the X-11 window and a dialog box
that says the command timed out. I tried downloading a newer
(2.4) version but now I just have two version that don't
open (2.3 and 2.4).
Here is the info on my machine.
System Version: Mac OS X 10.5.5 (9F33)
Kernel Version: Darwin 9.5.0
I am running Safari. I have to admit I am totally clueless.
I used to have a resident Geek but I am recently divorced
and do not have any idea how to fix this.
At one point I would get the Command Timed Out dialog box
and then I could ask it to open the document a second time
and it would open. Now it does not even do that any more.
Is it angry with me? Or am I just being sensitive? <smile>
Any help is much appreciated.
