To NoOp, You sure said that straight and to the point! What I cannot
understand is why anyone would use Outlook, when between OOo and the
mozilla family of software, you have the same functionality without
being a hacker's delight!? :-)
I have no good idea of what Outlook (as opposed to OE) does, never
having used it. But from what I've read, it goes beyond being a mail client.
However, a friend was bemoaning Outlook the other day. A colleague of
his had apparently sent a CD full of "Outlook" documents. Which were
unreadable, because apparently somewhere around Outlook 2002/2003 MS
changed the file format incompatibly. No prizes for guessing what my
friend promptly did; they're not called M$ for nothing :-(
The outlook seems bleak for some.
