I do too, not that I have professional contacts these days.

But the same friend hadn't twigged that linux was available free either. He knows now..... not that it will change anything, I'm afraid.

IT support for a large organization (that recently had a significant
funding cut) interested in OpenOffice.  I quickly whipped out my pen
drive, so that she could copy OpenOffice and the portableapps version. Also, after getting people to use OOo, Firefox, Thunderbird etc., it's a
lot easier to get them to switch to Linux or Mac, since their apps are
already there.

I must get set up to do that some time.
