Now.....I have another frustrating problem which I'm sure someone can
help me to solve. There again, in working on a document I have
inadvertantly done something that caused the line spacing to jump from
single to 1 1/2 spacing. I haven't found out how to change it back.
Can you give me a solution? Thanks again.

On the tool bar select "Format" > "Indents & Spacing" Tab > towards the bottom left is a drop-down
list for "Line Spacing".
Not to sound critical or demeaning but you should have gone to help and searched for line spacing.
You would have had your answer a lot faster.
