Gene,
That's it! Wow! I had somehow inadvertently increased the view size
somewhere along the way. My thanks to all of you for giving me
suggestions. This is a great list!
My Pleasure.
Now.....I have another frustrating problem which I'm sure someone can
help me to solve. There again, in working on a document I have
inadvertantly done something that caused the line spacing to jump
from single to 1 1/2 spacing. I haven't found out how to change it
back. Can you give me a solution? Thanks again.

On the tool bar select "Format" > "Indents & Spacing" Tab > towards
the bottom left is a drop-down list for "Line Spacing".
Not to sound critical or demeaning but you should have gone to help
and searched for line spacing. You would have had your answer a lot
faster.
Gene,
Before asking questions I always endeavor to avail myself of every help
in the program. I had studied Help and found no solution there. The
default setting for line spacing is set at "1". I went to
Format>Paragraph>Indents & Spacing and found that the spacing was set at
1. Now my question is:
- Why in the middle of a document did the spacing change from 1 to 1 1/2?
- How do I correct the part of the document that is now incorrectly spaced?
If I am not understanding what Help is telling me then I will appreciate
further guidance. I realize that this may be a simple question to those
of you who have been at computers much longer than I, but to many of us
asking questions may be the best method for learning.
Sarah
