OpenOffice can read MS Office 2003 files, as well as the new Office 2007 formats. How are you downloading? If you're using a dial up modem, it will take several hours. If via broadband (DSL or cable modem) it should take several minutes. If you are not able to download it at home, perhaps you can at a library, friend's, work etc., where broadband access is available. Failing that, you can purchase a CD from a vendor, though we cannot vouch for any vendors. Also, an updated version of OOo v3 is due out soon. You may want to wait for it. -- Use OpenOffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
